Chilli Garlic Noodles

This is a favourite noodle recipe of my son!

Preparation time - 15 minutes

Cooking time - 25 minutes

Ingredients:

Noodles - 500 gm

Red bell pepper - 1/4 cup

Green bell pepper - 1/4 cup

Yellow bell pepper - 1/4 cup

Green stalks of spring onions - 1/4 cup

Mushrooms - 1/3 cup

Garlic paste - 1 tbsp

Red chilli sauce - 2 tbsp

Chicken sausages - 12, 2'' pieces

Groundnut oil - 2 tbsp



Method:

1. Boil 1.25 litre of water along with salt and 1 tbsp of  oil. When the water boil add the noodles, let it cook in it for 5-7 minutes.

2. Drain the water and let the noodles be in a colander run under flowing water for a minute.Drain and keep aside.

3. Thinly slice the peppers [ red,yellow and green]. Wash, clean and cut the mushrooms into slices. Finely chop the stalks of spring onions. Finely slice the sausages.

4. Heat oil in a wok, add the garlic paste. Stir fry for 6-7 seconds.Add the sausages and stir for a minute or two.

5. Add the sliced vegetables and stir fry till all the water evaporates. Now add the chilli sauce and salt and mix well.

6. Lastly add the noodles and toss and stir fry for a couple of minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl.
