This is one of the quick evening snacks I prepare especially for my son and hubby :) It's yummy and nutritious and a relatively high calorie snack.
Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 15- 20 minutes
Ingredients :
Sweet Corn - 1 cup [boiled]
Cheese - 2 cups, grated
Cornflour - 1 1/2 tbsp
Refined flour - 2 1/2 tbsp
Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
Green chili - 2 finely chopped
White pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp finely chopped

Method :
1. Blend the boiled corn for one churn, so that they get coarsely ground.
2. In a large bowl, put in the corn, grated cheese, cornflour, refined flour, ginger paste, red chili and pepper powders, green chili, baking soda, cumin powder, lemon juice, salt and coriander leaves. Mix well.
3. Oil your palms and make small lemon size balls.
4. In a kadai, heat oil, slowly put in the balls. Keep stirring the oil so that the balls do not stick. Cook on medium to low heat. Once they turn golden brown in colour remove and put them on an absorbent paper. Repeat till all the balls are done.
5. Place the corn balls on a serving tray. Serve hot with sauce of your choice.
