Pepper Chicken

Its one of those preparations the you would like to make on a rainy day or a day when you want to make something easy. It's easy and tongue tickling :)

Preparation time - 10 minutes

Cooking time - 25 minutes

Ingredients:

Chicken - 500 gm, cut into medium sized pieces

Pepper powder - 2 tsp

Onions - 3, finely chopped

Oil  - 2-3 tbsp

Water - 1/2 cup

Salt - to taste



Method:

1. In a kadai heat oil. Add the onions and saute till the onions turn translucent.

2. Add pepper powder and saute for 1-2 minutes, add salt and the chicken pieces and mix well.

3. Stir for 3-4 minutes occasionally. Then add water, cover and cook for 15 minutes.

4. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot with rice or wheat chapatis.
